On the banks of the river The Guadalquivir, Seville is an inheritor of a rich Arabic legacy. The Andalusian capital reveals happiness and hustle in each of the streets and squares that form his historical background, which has an interesting set of buildings declared Heritage of the Humanity.
The Cathedral of Seville shows the title of Great Hispalensis from its buildings, being not only the major Gothic building of all those that exist, but one of the most colossal of the whole Christianity. National Monument was declared in 1928 catalogued in 1987 as Heritage of the Humanity for the UNESCO.
The Plaza Of Spain, has been done in a style regionalist (mixture of Mudejar, Gothic and Renaissance style). Around the square there are 48 bank chairs dedicated to the Spanish provinces decorated with blue ceramics tiles that represent historical events, the coat of arms and the map of the province. There is a small lake round the square crossed by 4 bridges that represent 4 kingdoms that were formed the Spanish crown: Castile, León, Navarre and Aragon.
